Geotechnical & Material Testing
Unearthing Strengths, Laying the Groundwork for Excellence
Geotechnical investigations form the base of the UK's infrastructure development, maintaining durability and stability in a changing environment. The demand arises from the nation's ambitious drive towards infrastructural expansion to meet the increasing needs of a modern society. Yet, this expansion is fraught with challenges, including diverse soil compositions, complex geological formations, and various environmental considerations.
In this field, CEG has a long and impressive history of understanding the ground beneath our feet, especially when it comes to construction projects. We've done this on a global scale, conducting over 10,000 geotechnical investigations. That's a lot of digging and studying to ensure everything stands strong.
In the UK, we're like the protectors of infrastructure. We make sure things are solid and will last a long time. We've got a special team, CEGTH, born in 2005, that joins us in this mission. Together, we've got more than 30 years of experience in testing and studying materials in labs and out in the field. CEGTH is all about precision. We look closely at the soil and rocks, testing them thoroughly to give the best advice on how to build things right.
Material Excellence - Quality Tested, Project Trusted
In the scenario of infrastructure development, the quality of construction material stands as the bedrock for stable and progressive projects. The United Kingdom faces a crucial need for qualitative construction material testing infrastructure, given its direct correlation with project stability and longevity.
The heart of CEG's commitment to quality lies in its highly developed construction material testing facility in India. Accredited by the National Association of Testing Laboratories (NABL), akin to the esteemed NAMAS in UK, and recognised by the Bureau of Industrial Standards (BIS), this facility serves as an institution of reliability.
Here, an array of physical and chemical tests are conducted in-house, covering a wide spectrum of construction materials. This ensures that every material utilised in infrastructure projects meets quality benchmarks, promoting stability, dependability, and sustainability.
As CEG creates the way towards a future of resilient infrastructure, our construction material testing facility stands as the guardian, certifying excellence and setting a standard of trust for every project we undertake.
